Perfectly Serial Terminal
I've been using this app for several years to interface with serial ports of many different embedded devices. It has become an essential tool for firmware development and am very happy that it continues to be updated. It's one of the few apps I'm never looking out to replace. — Ana70g
Worth it
Serial seems expensive for an application that you might think would be simple to write and have plenty of alternatives. But if you have tried other terminal software, you know that this stuff must be exceptionally hard to get perfect. And when you *need* an application like this to work perfectly *right now*, with whatever device you throw at it, your time saved by not messing around with other options is probably worth a whole lot more. — Amos01
It simply worked.
Step 1: Plug in USB serial device
Step 2: Start app
Step 3: Stare in amazement that it simply worked, even on El Capitan.
Yes, this app paid for itself. This beats the heck out of the days of crappy drivers and virtual machines burning cpu/ram to run less desirable operating systems.
