I lost my license key. How do I recover it?

Website Purchases

If you purchased Printopia, Printopia Pro, Serial or Trivial directly from our website we will have your license key(s) on file. Visit our Request License Keys page to have your license key(s) e-mailed to you.

If your e-mail address has changed since your purchase, please contact us to update your e-mail address.

Mac App Store Purchases

If you purchased Serial from the Mac App Store we will not have your e-mail address or a license key on file. In this case, do the following:

  1. If you have downloaded the "direct" version of our application from our website and it is in demo mode or prompting for a license key, delete it.

  2. Open the "App Store" app on your Mac.

  3. Sign in to your Mac App Store account.

  4. From the Store menu, choose View my Account....

  5. Find your purchase in the list and click "Install" to install the App Store version of our app on your machine. The App Store version of our app has an embedded license and will not prompt for a license key.

If you do not see your purchase listed it may be due to one of the following reasons:

  1. A different Apple ID was used for the purchase.

  2. The purchase was made using a different App Store country.

  3. The purchase is hidden. Read more about this on Apple's support site here: Hidden App Store Purchases

  4. You purchased the app directly from our website. Apple will not have information on file for purchases made via our website.

We do not have access to Mac App Store accounts or Apple ID purchase information. For further assistance with the Mac App Store, contact Apple Support.
